Silly special election wasted time, money

I am not a person who votes in primaries and probably should not criticize. But I have to voice my opinion about the 14th U.S. House district.

What really made be sick was reading the headline, "Oberweis to meet Democrat again in November election."

So let me try and understand:

Bill Foster and Jim Oberweise spent thousands of dollar trying to get this empty seat.

Foster won, but how much time and effort will he devote to his responsibilities, given he and Oberweis will start all over again to win in November? Just more trash talking.

Not much will get accomplished. The taxpayers would have been better served to leave the seat vacant until the November election. Just seems like a waste of time and money.

Maybe you can write about what Foster actually does during the next several months -- compared to time he spends running again.
