Embryonic stem cell research vital
If there is anything more cruel than Parkinson's disease, it is anyone who would stand in the way of its eventual eradication.
Yet there are those who would curtail embryonic stem cell research, one of the best chances to do just that.
Sheryl Jedlinski's Feb. 19 letter was one of the best I've ever seen on that subject. Her last sentence, "Ours is a nation of religious diversity and freedom, leaving no room for one group's narrow religious beliefs to dictate what we as a nation can do," summed it up brilliantly.
