The Citizens' Advisory Council of Elgin Area School District U-46 will present a special program at 7 p.m. Thursday in the library at Elgin High School, 1200 Maroon Drive in Elgin, on school safety and a new school program designed to promote positive behavior among students.

The council encourages the general public to attend; translation into Spanish will be available.
