WPWR to show 18 Fire games

The Chicago Fire is partnering WPWR Channel 50 to televise 18 games this season.

"We're excited to team up with My50 Chicago to provide Chicago Fire fans the best television coverage possible," said Fire president and GM John Guppy.

The Fire broadcast team also will sport a new look. Local sports radio personality Fred Huebner will handle the play-by-play duties, and longtime Fire broadcast sideline reporter Chris Doran will be in the booth as color analyst. Sarah Kustok has been named the new sideline reporter.

Here is the Fire's WPWR broadcast schedule:

• March 29, at Real Salt Lake, 5 p.m.

• April 20, vs. Kansas City, 2 p.m.

• May 3, at New England, 6:30 p.m.

• May 17, vs. Houston, 7:30 p.m.

• May 25, at New York, 2 p.m.

• June 15, at FC Dallas, 2 p.m.

• June 28, vs. San Jose, 7:30 p.m.

• July 19, vs. Real Salt Lake, 7:30 p.m.

• July 27, at Kansas City, 7 p.m.

• Aug. 2, vs. Chivas USA, 7:30 p.m.

• Aug 9, at New England, 6:30 p.m.

• Aug. 16, vs. D.C. United, 7:30 p.m.

• Aug. 31, at Houston, 6 p.m.

• Sept. 14, at Colorado, 2 p.m.

• Sept. 21, vs. FC Dallas, 2 p.m.

• Oct. 5, at Kansas City, 2 p.m.

• Oct. 12, vs. Columbus, 2 p.m.

• Oct. 18, at Toronto FC, 2:30 p.m.
