Republicans aren't fiscally responsible
Oh, please, give me a break.
I am presuming that Mr. Nejdl (Feb. 26) is trying to continue to promote the false premise that Republicans are more fiscally responsible than Democrats.
When will they drop this tired and false line of thinking? Why do they think that it's better to be a "Spend and Spend" Republican instead of a "Tax and Spend" Democrat? Isn't the party that wants to have our public services paid for out of current revenue the more fiscally prudent party?
Yes. I will spend my stimulus check -- despite what it will do to our national debt. But I'm going to take the check and spend it all on "Obama for President" bumper stickers. We know those are made in this country.
