Finally, hope seen from Springfield

The national scene is as exciting as the local scene is depressing. But the recent set of budget proposals unveiled in Springfield give me hope that we can get on track.

With all the new people in our growing suburban areas, there is need for more schools, municipal services and widened roads.

Many people are having a tough time and as local tax referendums are voted down, you would think our state lawmakers would know tax increases are not an option.

Providing incentives or tax cuts for families and businesses will help us grow our economy.
