Eastern Mich. beats NIU 82-63

YPSILANTI, Mich. -- Carlos Medlock shot 3-for-5 from 3-point range and scored 23 points for Eastern Michigan, which led from the first basket and cruised to an 82-63 win on Sunday.

The Eagles (13-6, 8-8 Mid-American) led 18-2 3:34 into the game and were ahead 42-30 at halftime of both teams' regular season finale. Eastern was 9-for-18 from 3-point range to the Huskies' 4-for-20.

Eastern Michigan's Travis Lewis sank two 3-pointers and made a rebound and an assist in the game's first 1:33, finishing with eight points and nine rebounds.

Justin Dobbins scored 20 points and grabbed six rebounds, while Jesse Bunkley had 11 points and Jarred Axon added 10 for the Eagles.

Shaun Logan had 20 points and seven rebounds, Darion Anderson had 12 points, and Sean Smith added 10 for Northern Illinois (6-21, 3-12).
