Sign kids up for farm camp at Prairie Crossing this summer

Registration has just started for this summer's Children's Farm Camp at the Prairie Crossing Learning Farm, 32400 N. Harris Road in Grayslake.

This camp lets children find out where their food comes from as they plant seeds, explore life in and above the soil, make fresh snacks with crops they harvest and visit the chickens to collect eggs.

Farm camp is open to children entering preschool through fourth grade, with six groups in three age ranges. Camps will run from June 16 to Aug. 7. Each two-week, half-day camp has limited enrollment.
