Bandits offer open house
The Chicago Bandits professional softball team will host an open house of its new corporate office and retail store on today from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The Bandits have moved their team operations to 72 S. Grove St. in Elgin and are also opening a softball retail store at that location.
The Bandits will play their games this season at Judson University in Elgin.

Westminster Christian baseball clinic:ŒWestminster Christian School will host its fifth annual kids baseball clinic for ages 7-14 today. Cost is $40 per player.
Hosted by a high school baseball team that advanced to the Class A Elite Eight last season and returns the majority of its lineup, the clinic will stress the fundamentals of hitting, fielding and throwing.
Players will work on the same fundamentals and drills that have helped Westminster develop into a state power in Class 1A.
