Too many boarders core of snow mess?

According to Elgin's occupancy standards, each homeowner is allowed up to two unrelated boarders.

In the past, this may have been just a footnote, but I believe this is being taken advantage of all too often lately.

Imagine if half of your neighbors, who live in a small house on a narrow street, each had one or two boarders and each boarder owned a vehicle or two.

This is not far from the truth.

I also believe this elevated number of vehicles is a major factor in the less than satisfactory snow removal.

The snowplow divers can't do a decent job when there are so many parked vehicles on the streets at any given hour.

This affects all the neighbors and all those that drive down the streets in a negative way.

I wish Elgin would reconsider this loophole as I call it. I also wonder if all these boarders are legal U.S. citizens.
