Police give access to edited Lane Bryant call

TINLEY PARK -- Tinley Park Police have established a toll-free number that allows callers to hear portions of the 911 call from a deadly store shooting.

The recording begins with a brief introduction followed by portions of the 911 call. The call includes the voice of the man police say shot six women inside a Lane Bryant store, killing five.

The call was placed by store manager Rhoda McFarland just moments before she was killed.

The number also allows callers to leave a message.

The toll-free number is 866-853-6222. The call can also be heard on the police department's Web site, www.tinleypark.org .
