Drop-In Storytimes: Storytime for 3- to 5-year-olds will be held on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 2-2:30 p.m. through March 19.
Storytime for 2-year-olds will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:45-11:15 a.m. through March 20.
Stories & More: The library will host stories, crafts and related activities for children ages 5-7 at 4 p.m. today. (R-YS)
One-on-One Career Counseling: Edie Kleinman, a licensed career counselor from Jewish Vocational Service, will provide 30-minute one-on-one assistance with interviewing, resume writing and other aspects of the job search process from 9 to 11:30 a.m. today in a fourth-floor study room. Appointments are required. Please sign up at the Registration Desk. A waiting list will be kept. (R)

Meet with State Senator Kotowski's Representative: District Director Janie Morrison from state Sen. Dan Kotowski's office will answer questions privately about state services and benefits from 10 a.m.-noon Tuesday in a third-floor study room. No appointments are required.
Thursday Evening Book Discussion: Readers' Services Assistant David Whittingham will lead a discussion of "Mayflower: A Story of Courage, Community and War," by Nathaniel Philbrick at 7:30 p.m. March 13. Books are available one month prior at the Readers' Services Desk. (R-RS)
Story Explorers: Kids in grades 3-5 will get together at 4 p.m. March 13 to participate in theme-based activities including stories, crafts and a snack. (R-YS)

Writing Workshop: As part of the Inside Writing and Publishing Series, author Stacey Klemstein will present "The Secret to a Good Query Letter" from 10 a.m. to noon March 15. Participants will leave with a rough draft of their own query letter. Cosponsored with participating NSLS libraries. (R)
How I Became a Pirate: Emerald City Theatre Company will perform "How I Became a Pirate" for the Friends Family Sunday, at 2 p.m. March 16. Enjoy buried treasure, sea chanteys and pirate curses in this musical play. The program is sponsored by Friends of the Library and held in the Friends Room on the first floor.
Teen Advisory Board Meeting: TAB will meet at 4:30 p.m. March 17 in the Teen Lounge to suggest books, movies, music and plan library programs for teens. All teens are welcome. Snacks provided.
