Dynapar initiates use of equipment

GURNEE -- Dynapar announces the introduction of a compact Acuro XR absolute encoder. The new encoder incorporates three design elements that make it ideal for harsh applications. First, unlike traditional absolute encoders that utilize optical technology, the new encoder utilizes magnetic technology. Second, it uses considerably oversized bearings to handle high axial and radial shaft loads. Third, it is tightly sealed around the shaft and housing to resist liquid ingress.
