Natural gas bills going through roof
I have just received my bill from Nicor. I pay on a budget plan that goes up and down like a yo-yo.
I am a widowed senior trying to live on a fixed income, and am an empty nester to boot. My bill for one month is $366.77. How is this possible?
I live alone, and don't use my appliances like a family of five does, and their bill is $299, which is still exorbitant. Are you going to tell me Nicor needs an increase in "their delivery charge?"
They need a big decrease. They are really taking advantage of all of us and are getting away with it.
Maybe the meters they're supposedly reading are faulty, but whatever, something has got to be done to stop their billing practices or I'll end up broke and homeless.
The ICC better be listening. They need a delivery rate increase like I need a hole in my head!
