Oberweis wrong on health-care plans

On his own Web site, Jim Oberweis says he wants to move away from a "third payer system," which is politician speak for eliminating employer-paid health care benefits.

It's very simple. In America, if you have a job, you should have health care. Oberweis runs around calling everyone "extreme" and "wrong," but in light of the millions of Americans who are uninsured, why would we want to create an even bigger health-care crisis?

Not only is he going to pursue policies that don't stop our good jobs from going to China, he's going to work to make sure our Beijing bosses shouldn't provide decent and reasonable benefits.

What's mainstream and right about Jim Oberweis wanting to take away our sense of security when it comes to health care?

I know. Nothing.
