Foster best choice for a new approach
Right out of the box Jim Oberweis has come out with negative ads citing misleading statistics from the Heritage Foundation. He clearly lacks a positive message. According to his Web site, one of his top legislative priorities would be the repeal of the estate tax. Since this tax only affects the extremely wealthy .05 percent of his district, who is he really trying to represent? Obviously he's not looking out for the interests of folks who work for a living.
He supports the failed policies of the Bush administration; massive tax cuts for the wealthy, never ending wars in the Middle East (with no plan to pay for them), no real plan to fix the health care mess, and more subsidies for nuclear power.
We need a new approach in Washington, not a continuation of programs that have failed America. Vote for Bill Foster in the U.S. House District 14 Special Election on March 8.
