What about all the items needing a fix?

What has state and federal legislative conservatism cost us when Republicans and some Democrats say, "Vote for me and I won't raise your taxes"?

What about roads and bridges that need repair or replacement? What about a broken education system, where many families can't afford to send their sons and daughters to college even if they are lucky enough to get a decent education in our public schools,

What about a medical system where a mother can't take her children to a doctor because she can't afford health insurance? What about a failed progressive tax system that allows the rich to get richer on the backs of middle-class citizens?

Like most citizens, I don't want to pay more than my share of taxes and I don't like government waste. I do want, though, our legislators to fix what needs fixing and then come back and say, "Vote for me and I won't raise your taxes."
