Thanks for support of MainStreet

The MainStreet Libertyville Board of Directors would like to thank those who offered their financial and moral support through its recent extremely critical financial crisis.

The public/private continued support of a MainStreet organization is key to its ongoing success. We appreciate your generosity.

Special thanks goes to Century 21 owners M. J. Seiler and Tom Kreuser who generously gave matching funds of $10,000 and to Mari and Jean-Marc Loustaneou who graciously opened up their restaurant, Café Pyrenees, to us on a snowy January night for a wine-tasting fundraiser, which turned out to be a huge success.

We would also like to thank Jack Martin for responding to our situation by mailing letters to residents informing them of our crisis. The response was overwhelming.

Through your outpouring of concern and support, we are greatly encouraged. Our membership levels are the highest in our history with over 1,100 members. A long-term plan is in place. The doors will remain "open". We will survive!

Randy Nelson,

Executive Director,

on behalf of

MainStreet Board of Directors
