Gov. Blagojevich, do the right thing

Remove Cole Hall at Northern Illinois University? No, it's wrong.

Just like it is wrong to pay so much money just to have your name on all the toll highway authority road signs.

Is it the intent of the governor to replace an "aging" building where a terrible situation happened or is it to erect a new memorial building with the moniker of "The Governor Rod Blagojevich Memorial Building" to go down in the history books?

Mr. Blagojevich, do the right thing.

Help mental health issues. Improve opportunities for health options for people. Yes, even those with pre-existing conditions. Work on getting the affordable and proper preventive treatment and care for people. Work to realize that healthy mental health is vital to a healthy society.

If, along the way, "aging" buildings can be rehabbed or rebuilt, then let's do it.

Come on, folks. Think and do the right thing.
