Members of St. Peter Parish, Geneva, will present the Living Stations of the Cross at 7 p.m. Friday, March 14 and Good Friday, March 21. The tableaux-style dramatization will take place in the church at 1891 Kaneville Road, Geneva.

Each station will highlight a single character who responds to the question "Were You There?"

The production is based on the meditation "Journey of Decision: A Way of the Cross," by Sarah A. O'Malley and Robert D. Eimer.

Characters move during music, but freeze during the monologues and narration.

More than 30 parishioners from St. Peter will portray the characters and will assist with music, lighting and sound.

Drew Von Ruden portrays Jesus, with Jennifer Sloma as Mary, Nancy Krueger as Magdalene, and Gary Uhazy as John the Apostle.

Tina Trch, Lisa O'Leary-Volk, Brian Zolfo, Kathy Jaeger, and J.D. Dawson will narrate. Other parishioners involved in the production include Mario Balettie, Laurene Condon, Vicki Danklefsen, Dutch Deutschendorf, Joe and Mary Beth Guzzo, Matt Karlson, John Kuebrich, Danielle Krueger, Paul Krueger, Mike Longo, Colleen Miller-Owen, Mike Phillips, Mollie Propheter, Pat Shanahan, Steve Sloma, Jim Sronkoski, Christine Von Ruden, Tim Vaughan and Ron Volk.

Children in the Danklefsen, Karlson, Krueger, Longo, Owen, Phillips, Shanahan, Vaughan, Volk, and Von Ruden families are also participating. Corrine Albright and Maggie Phillips will provide the music. Roxanne Sronkoski is directing the production.

There is no charge for the one-hour presentation.
