Federal Signal to defend cases

OAK BROOK -- Federal Signal Corp., a maker of fire engines, street sweepers and security systems, announced it retained Phil Beck of Bartlit Beck Herman Palenchar and Scott LLP as trial counsel to defend the company in Cook County firefighter hearing loss cases scheduled for trial in March. The company also said the Supreme Court of Kings County, New York, on Jan. 25 granted Federal Signal's motion to dismiss all New York hearing loss cases.
