SRTP's 'road trip' season

Chicago's Silk Road Theatre Project begins the season it has dubbed "road trips" with the world premiere of "Our Enemies: Lively Scenes of Love and Combat" about an Arab-American author pressured to alter her novel to satisfy Western tastes, and her lover who attempts to force the U.S. media to feature Arab voices more prominently.

Nun's return

Naperville's Lisa Braatz takes on the role of Sister in Vicki Quade's "Put the Nuns in Charge," the follow-up to her hit comedy "Late Nite Catechism" The nostalgic Catholic school send-up begins a short run Wednesday at the Paramount Theatre.
