Rolling Meadows teen charged in sexual assault
A Rolling Meadows teen was charged Tuesday with sexually assaulting a 17-year-old girl at a home Sunday, said Assistant State's Attorney Matt Medina.
Michael A. Khoury, 17, of 4021 Bluebird Lane is accused of assaulting the victim after she had passed out from being drunk at a party on the 1400 block of California Avenue in Rolling Meadows, Medina said.
Rolling Meadows police said Khoury and the victim were at an unsupervised, underage party and that Khoury assaulted the teenager while she was "passed out from intoxication."
The adults of the house were out of town and unaware of the party, police added.
The charge carries a sentence of four to 15 years in prison if Khoury is convicted, Medina said.
Bond was set at $50,000 in a hearing Tuesday afternoon in the Rolling Meadows courthouse. Khoury is scheduled to appear again March 21 in Rolling Meadows.
