Comets 12U Black has Sunday tryout

The St. Charles Comets 12U Black team is looking for experienced fast-pitch softball players to add to its roster for the upcoming 2008 season.

There will be a tryout at 3 p.m. Sunday at St. Charles East High School Fieldhouse, at 1020 Dunham Road, two blocks north of Route 64. For information, call coach Sue Stricker at (630) 336-1553 or visit stcharlescomets.info.

The Comets is a traveling softball team that will play in several tournaments this summer and has home games at the East Side Sports Complex in St. Charles. The St. Charles Comets program's mission is to provide the opportunity for girls to build character and develop confidence in their abilities through the game of softball and prepare Comets to play softball at the next level.
