Are we sick of the snow yet? Read on ...

Another storm warning.

Freezing rain and snow expected tonight. Six to nine inches predicted, depending on how far north you live and how the wind blows, according to the National Weather Service. And those winds could be gusty, up to 30 to 40 mph.

The snow is expected to taper off into flurries by Tuesday morning.

Let's just say:

"We are so sick of precipitation …

• I've quit drinking water."

• I feel like a duck."

• and condensation, I long for apprehension, at least then I'm not all wet."

• I had to take my snow blower to a hernia doctor."

• I'm thinking about sticking my snow shovel in the front yard with a white flag tied to it."

• that I'm ready to shake someone."

• that I'm wondering what I may have done wrong in a past life that deserves this kind of punishment."

•I'd rather watch a Rex Grossman workout video than sit through another dreary day."

• I'd rather listen to Mike Ditka do another painful rendition of 'Take Me Out to the Ballgame' than sit through another dreary day."

•I'd rather sit through a Cook County board meeting than sit through another dreary day."

• I'm so sick of mother nature pitching winter but throwing a rain curveball every couple weeks."

•I'm planning a vacation to Death Valley."

•I'm so sick of precipitation, my heart can take no more palpitation."

•I could just spit. Except my sump pump is already running nearly constantly and I don't want to add to its burden."

• I don't even want to spit."

•I won't listen to my Muddy Waters albums."

•I don't even want it to rain 'Pennies from Heaven.'Ȧ"

• instead of showering, I'm going to have myself dry-cleaned from now on."

• I'm boycotting 'Sierra Mist' and 'Mountain Dew.'Ȧ"

• the next time the weatherman says 'snow' I'm going to throw my TV out the window."

•I actually like the part in 'Frosty the Snowman' where Frosty melts away."

• I'm staying on spring break until spring actually comes."

• I'm never drinking anything on the rocks again."

• I'm vomiting up snow cones."

• that even though I've been lucky enough to take brief vacations to warmer climes in January and February, I'm already scheming how to do yet another in March."
