Farrakhan praises Obama
Nation of Islam Minister Louis Farrakhan says presidential candidate Barack Obama represents hope that the United States will change for the better.
Farrakhan says he's not telling anyone who to vote for. But he praised Obama and took small jabs at his Democratic rival Hillary Clinton in a speech Sunday.
Farrakhan's keynote address in Chicago wraps up three days of events geared at unifying Nation of Islam followers.
Farrakhan made what was called his final public address at a Saviours' Day event in Detroit last year after he ceded leadership of the organization to an executive board.
But the 74-year-old has slowly increased his public appearances over the past year as he recovers from complications from prostate cancer.
