Hollywood scripts may be to blame
The standard plot in about half of the adventure dramas out of Hollywood is as follows -- a nice guy but a little gullible is tormented by the in- crowd bullies or other evil forces.
The hero is finally victimized to the breaking point, then goes out and buys the biggest gun he can find and blows the bad guys away AKA the "Terminator" or " Collateral Damage."
Including the new to-be-released movie "Dark Matter" with Meryl Streep.
The other problem is if the misguided would-be shooter seeks professional help, but instead psychologists do not talk about good and evil but instead he is confronted by moral relativism, what is good for you.
Rather than what the Pope has talked about as one of the biggest evils in society is moral relativism .
Until society finds the moral law (10 Commandments), massacres may be more common.
