Eaton, Oklahoma St. upend No. 4 Kansas

Byron Eaton scored a career-high 26 points, including the winning free throw with 12.6 seconds left, and Oklahoma State knocked No. 4 Kansas out of first place in the Big 12 with a 61-60 upset on Saturday in Stillwater, Okla.

Eaton was fouled by Sasha Kaun as he drove to the basket and made the first free throw before missing the second.

Kansas grabbed the rebound and worked the ball to Brandon Rush, but he missed a 3-pointer from the left corner before fans rushed the court to celebrate the Cowboys' third straight victory.

The Jayhawks (24-3, 9-3) rallied from a 9-point second-half deficit to go ahead 58-54 in the final three minutes. But Oklahoma State (14-12, 5-7) finished strong to knock Kansas out of a first-place tie with No. 7 Texas.

Darnell Jackson led Kansas with 16 points and 10 rebounds.

Duke 86, St. John's 56: Kyle Singler led five double-figure scorers with 16 points, and No. 5 Duke (23-3) snapped a two-game losing streak by beating St. John's (10-16). Gerald Henderson and Nolan Smith scored 13 points apiece for the Blue Devils, who overwhelmed the Red Storm with a 32-9 run late in the first half and cruised to their NCAA-leading 59th straight nonconference victory at Cameron Indoor Stadium.

UCLA 75, Oregon 65: Russell Westbrook scored 16 points and helped rally host No. 6 UCLA (24-3, 12-2 Pac-10) from an 11-point second-half deficit to a win over Oregon (15-12, 6-9). The Bruins extended their lead in the Pac-10 to 1½ games over No. 9 Stanford.

Texas 62, Oklahoma 45: D.J. Augustin scored 19 points, and host No. 7 Texas (23-4, 10-2 Big 12) held Oklahoma (18-9, 6-6) to a season-low point total. The Longhorns have won seven straight, the school's longest winning streak in the Big 12.

Drake 71, Butler 64: Josh Young scored a career-high 25 points, including 3 free throws when he was fouled on a 3-point attempt with 20 seconds to go, and No. 16 Drake (24-3) beat host No. 8 Butler (25-3). It ended a nine-game winning streak for Butler.
