Wings chain lands in Mundelein

MUNDELEIN -- Wingstop, a chicken wing chain, has moved into Mundelein. Chris and Peggy Van Aken of Van Aken & Associates Inc. opened the new Wingstop at 720 S. Route 83, next to a Dunkin' Donuts, according to the company. The chain serves boneless wing strips made from all-white meat chicken breasts coated with a proprietary batter and breading, with nine flavors. Wingstop has more than 600 restaurants either open or under development in 28 states.
