Update on the NIU survivors

One more NIU shooting victim has been released from the hospital. Two students remain hospitalized.

Lauren Debrauwere of Lake Barrington: Remained in fair condition Thursday, according to a news release from Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago.

Maria Ruiz Santana, 19, of Elgin: Upgraded to fair condition Thursday at Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove. Santana suffered gunshot wounds to her head and chest.
