Spaghetti dinner to aid Willard student

The Willard Elementary School PTO is holding a spaghetti dinner to benefit a sixth-grade student who was recently diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma.

The dinner will be served from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the South Elgin Lions Club, 500 Fulton St., South Elgin. The cost is $6 for adults and $3.50 for children, with a family maximum of $20.

Beverages are not included; there will be a cash bar. All money raised will go directly to the family of Bradley Wendt to help with their medical expenses.
