Sure nice to know letter was read

My thanks to Lou Eisenberg (Feb. 5 letter). It's nice to know that I'm being read.

My point was that the idea of rights adhering to individuals as individuals is a religious idea, and was foreign to the world before Christ. People in ancient city-states had rights only as members of groups or holders of offices. That is why exile was such a terrible punishment. I'm sorry that he missed it.
