Our country is in peril of attacks

I am confused by some of the articles I have read. One is the issue of "water boarding" when interrogating "suspected terrorist prisoners."

Would it be better to treat them with dignity and care, while they torture and kill our troops and innocent people in a horrendous way?

These people in many cases want to kill "the infidels" who are you, me.

The prisoners being held and interrogated must have done something against someone to be in prison in the first place.

Valuable information can be obtained from these people, but not if the interrogation people can't do their jobs.

The Democrats want us to get out of Iraq and Afghanistan now. That would be the worst thing we could do, because it would give the insurgents and terrorists another place to group and plan more destruction.

We left the Iraqi people to fend for themselves after the Gulf War and look at how many people were executed by their so-called governments for helping us.

When are we going to wake up and realize our country is in peril of attacks on our soil?

It is a different world today. Everyone is not our friend. There are many people who want the U.S.A. and western world destroyed.
