Elgin firm to make ads for Sun-Times
CHICAGO -- The Sun-Times News Group Tuesday said it signed a contract with Elgin-based Affinity Express Inc. to handle most of its print and online advertising production. Affinity will create advertising for clients, process camera-ready ads, and offer quicker turn-around for advertising clients, said Sun-Times spokeswoman Tammy Chase. She declined to say how much the deal was worth and how many workers would be laid off as a result. It's expected to save the struggling company $3 million annually.
