When our worries turn to class safety

My son spent a semester at ISU. I worried about him drinking, his grades, not getting up in time or even going to classes.

It never occurred to me to worry about him being safe in his classroom.

He is now home attending community college, with expectations to return to a university in the fall.

Today we did not talk about his upcoming choices of schools or classes, etc.

Our conversation today was to figure out the safest place to sit in a class or lecture hall and how to escape if needed. How sad.
