Arthur J. Gallagher buys benefits firm

ITASCA -- Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. announced on Monday the acquisition of Taylor Benefits in Holladay, Utah. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Taylor Benefits offers employee benefit consultation and brokerage services for its Western clients. Taylor Benefits specializes in group medical, dental, life and disability insurance with an emphasis on consumer directed plans.
