Response to David Ignatius' column
I can't begin to tell you all how happy I was to read David Ignatius' column (Feb. 5) on "How the Surge has worked to Bring Sense of Security to Iraq."
The joy I felt was consistent with anything that Mr. Bush has done in the past. It was about as welcomed as a hemorrhoid on my back side when any one thinks this war was a good idea.
Mr. Ignatius says the campaign did not make Iraqis love the military occupation but it did restore security to the point where people could start rebuilding shops and businesses. I am glad he feels all the wasted American lives and billions of dollars were worth the Iraqis rebuilding their shops and businesses.
Then it dawned on me the true meaning of the surge: Sending Unlimited Reserves for Greed and Embezzlement. Something this administration had no problem with. And it will be business as usual if Sen. McCain gets in office. He supports this useless war even though the outcome will be the same as the other useless war he was part of called Vietnam.
So Mr. Ignatius, I respect your opinion but I don't support your idiotic views.
