Iraq 'surge' doesn't amount to success

Don't be fooled by our government's claims of success with the Iraq "surge."

Had this surge been our original tactic as many urged -- and succeeded then -- at least 2,500 Americans and probably 100,000 Iraqis would still be alive, not senselessly dead.

The current surge will never be a victory for America. It simply proves that Iraq is the sad and bloody legacy of our White House incompetence and arrogance and disgrace for every America citizen.
