Don't destroy park with condominiums

Decimate Century Park with seven-story condos? I hope not.

Does Vernon Hills need more condos? How many do we have unoccupied - and how many more are under construction? The two restaurants now in Century Park seem to be doing well. However, if Mr. Demari wants to get in the condo game, why not trade the Opa restaurant for the space the mayor recently gave to the library board?? Let him build his condo down there where it would be less conspicuous.

The Opa restaurant is a perfect location for our long-awaited library. The building would need minimal alteration and the parking lot is in. WE could have a well-located, easily accessible, up-and-running library in a few months - and save hundreds of thousand of dollars. Think about it.
