UIC senior arrested for alleged e-mail threats
Police say they have arrested a 24-year-old University of Illinois-Chicago senior after she allegedly sent out e-mails threatening violence on the UIC campus.
University spokesman Mark Rosati says an anonymous e-mail was sent to numerous people Friday afternoon threatening violence at some time in the spring.
Rosati says one of the e-mails was sent to a "fairly senior official" on campus who reported the information to police.
Rosati says the senior, who lives in Wheaton, was arrested Saturday morning and charged with disorderly conduct.
