3 minors injured in evening crash in Mundelein

Three minors were injured -- one critically -- after a crash in Mundelein Monday night, officials said.

Mundelein fire officials responded to the corner of Prairie and Hammond avenues just after 6:34 p.m. Monday for a call for a vehicle that rolled over after a crash, Mundelein fire department Lt. Carl LoMastro said.

All three people were out of the vehicle when officials arrived and were taken by ambulance to Condell Medical Center in Libertyville, LoMastro said.

Two of the people suffered minor to moderate injuries, he said.

The cause of the accident is under investigation. Mundelein police declined comment late Monday.
