Library to hold puppet program

Kids in grades 1 and up are invited to the Presidents' Day Miliken Puppet program starring Uncle Sam. The free program featuring the lives of great Americans meets from 11 a.m. to noon on Feb. 18 in the Henrickson room of the Arlington Heights Memorial Library, 500 N. Dunton. Heart and soul fair set for Tuesday

Care for your heart and nourish your soul at Northwest Community Hospital's Heart & Soul Health Fair on Tuesday during American Heart Month. The free event, open to all ages, runs from 4 to 8 p.m. at Arlington Park race track.

Heart & Soul will offer free screenings for heart problems, diabetes and other health issues. Among the attractions are chair and hand massages, cooking demonstrations, yoga, tai chi, flower arranging, animal-assisted therapy, a comedy workshop and a children's area.

The community health fair is a free event, but registration is required for the screenings, and space is limited. So call ahead to (847) 618-4YOU, or register at www.nch.org/heartandsoul.
