Speak plainly about U-46's cost source

As a taxpayer I would appreciate down-to-Earth, straight talk on the Elgin Area School District U-46 budget. Don't tell me there has been a tremendous increase in the cost of "special education," which would lead one to believe that the school district has had a sudden invasion of handicapped children.

Politically correct speech hides the real reason for the crisis and makes it just too difficult for the John Daltons of our community to identify the horrendous cost of illegal immigration.

These "special education" costs, of course, are actually generated by the children of illegal immigrants who can't read, write or speak English. Since U-46 is by far the largest drain on our property tax dollars, can't they at least level with us?
