Politicians don't listen to the people

It seems that we are losing our rights as citizens of this great country to people that we vote into office.

They are supposed to represent us, the American taxpaying citizen, as we are the employers and those in office are our employees.

They seem to be the ones that dictate what we are supposed to do and not listen to us.

When a problem arises, both parties are supposed come to the table and solve it and not blame each other.

If they don't start to put in effect the promises they made on the campaign trail inside of two months, they should be fired and not stay in office until the term is over.

If it happened in any factory, department store or a place of business, that person wouldn't be working there tomorrow.

Talking about Social Security is a lost cause until we as Americans are treated equally. How is it that our officials get anywhere from a $4,000 raise a year and higher and their perks, dinners, benefits, traveling, medical and also pensions go up also?

If only we could get our officers in office to retire when they reach retirement age, it would be the right thing to do.

Then people like Greenspan and Kennedy and others would really scream their heads off, and it isn't too late to have them retire as we do. Then you could say the American taxpaying citizen is treated equally.
