Durbin doesn't deliver for Illinois

No coal plant in Decatur. I would chalk this up to another failure of Sen. Dick Durbin to obtain a return of Federal tax dollars to the state of Illinois.

We are ranked 11th in terms of tax revenues submitted by states to the federal government. We are ranked 45th in what we get back.

Dick, stop promoting yourself (you are now the number 2 ranking Democrat in the Senate) and start promoting Illinois.

Better yet, if you cannot get anything in return from the federal government, then start cutting spending until things start to look a bit more promising to Illinois citizens.
