Learn to landscape for curb appeal

On Saturday, the Fine Line Creative Arts Center in St. Charles will host a lecture by landscape architect and contractor Bob Hursthouse.

Hursthouse co-founded Hursthouse Inc. in 1990 and has received many community and industry accolades, including the Illinois Landscaping Contractors Association's Man of the Year.

The "Landscape Design For Curb Appeal" lecture will be from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday in the Painting Studio of the Kavanagh Building.

He will discuss techniques for creating a focal point, improving circulation and integrating your home into the site to create a look that will wow the public.
