James, Cavs beat Celtics for second time
LeBron James scored 33 points and barely missed a triple-double as the Cleveland Cavaliers beat Boston for the second time this season, downing the Celtics 114-113 on Tuesday night.
James added 12 assists, 9 rebounds and 5 steals to pace the Cavaliers, who improved to 15-4 since Dec. 25 and handed the NBA's best road team just its fifth loss away from home. Cleveland also beat the Celtics in overtime on Nov. 27.
Celtics all-star center Kevin Garnett missed his fourth straight game with an abdominal strain.
Spurs 116, Pacers 89: Tim Duncan dominated the middle, and San Antonio's stingy second-half defense turned a close game into a rout of host Indiana.
Lakers 105, Nets 90: Pau Gasol was a winner in his Lakers debut, without much help from Kobe Bryant (season-low 6 points), as Los Angeles beat host New Jersey.
Sixers 101, Wizards 96: Andre Iguodala scored 20 points, and host Philadelphia stunned Washington with a 17-0 run late in the fourth quarter.
Bucks 102, Grizzlies 97: Mo Williams scored 32 points and led a fourth quarter rally to help Milwaukee beat host Memphis snap a three-game losing streak.
O'Neal to be traded?: Shaquille O'Neal is prepared for the Miami Heat to trade him, a confidant of the 14-time all-star center told The Associated Press on Tuesday night. O'Neal's associate, who spoke on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to reveal anything publicly, indicated a move could be imminent. The Miami Herald reported earlier Tuesday that the Heat is in "serious and ongoing" trade negotiations with the Phoenix Suns.
