Show choir to take the stage

The Expressions, Buffalo Grove High School's award-winning show choir, will present its 2008 competition Preview Performance at 7 p.m. Thursday in the Miller Theater at Buffalo Grove High School, 1100 W. Dundee Road, Buffalo Grove. A donation of $3 is requested for adults, $1 for children; students with I.D. are free.

The Expressions will compete at the DeKalb Invitational in Auburn, Ind., on Saturday and will compete at the Show Choir Nationals in Nashville, Tenn., in March.

The mixed show choir, which includes 33 singer-dancers, 12 band members and 7 crew members, is directed by Debora Utley and choreographed by Randy Sage.
