Palatine OKs drainage study

Palatine councilmen voted Monday night to spend $33,500 for a drainage study. During the August 2007 storm, the Doe Road area experienced extreme storm water runoff and officials say the 15-acre watershed needs to be studied for possible improvements. After the study is complete, a meeting will be held with residents to discuss findings. The Ethans Glen area is near the site. Elected officials voted 6-0 to go forward with the study by Peter F. Olesen and Assoc.
