Give to Renz Center with special gift cards

Renz Addiction Counseling Center in Elgin has started a fundraising gift card program, Care to Share, where residents can donate and not have it cost them any more than the face value of the gift card.

For each card ordered, the Renz Center receives a percentage back from the retailer which, in turn, is the donation.

The Care to Share program offers hundreds of participating retailers and restaurants to choose from, with the Renz Center receiving anywhere from 2 to 15 percent on each card ordered.

Wal-Mart, Carson's, J.C. Penney, and Kohl's department stores are just a few participating retailers, in addition to such stores as Bed Bath & Beyond, Best Buy, Borders, AMC Theaters, Dominick's, Jewel and Amoco. Fine and fast food restaurant gift cards can also be purchased.
